Are we limiting the potential?

When looking at the current employment opportunities for special needs, especially in India, we must question ourself if basic entry level jobs or activities like candle making or basket weaving is the most we can do? Are we not limiting the untapped potential their minds can go to by confining them to traditional, small scale vocational activities?

about us
Let’s shift the focus

For far too long, we have limited our focus to working on the weakness of special needs individuals, we must now look at their strengths to take advantage of the twice exceptional ability that many of them are gifted with. We must now give wings to the brilliance hidden in their minds to lead innovation that is unimaginable.

What do we do?
to bring change.

The Journey
What led us here…

We started working with twice exceptional children in a therapy centre in 2017 and witnessed their immense potential.

Conducted a research in 2018 on ‘Identifying strengths of Autistic Children using Multiple Intelligence Theory’ and found substantial support for our idea of conducting therapy using their strength areas.

This inspired us to go further and use strengths in vocational training

Developed Multiple Intelligence kit to assess strength areas of twice exceptional children

Started working one on one with these children in 2019 and have made great progress.

About Me

I am Chahat Vasal, a final year Mechatronics (Robotics) engineering student. I have worked my entire life with children with special needs, courtesy of my psychologist mother. I always knew that I wanted to use tech to empower the lives of these children. But gradually working with them directly during the past 3 years, I realised that they can in fact use tech to change the world – with just a little assistance! Thus initially, I started working with one child, and now after 2 years and immense confidence from the success we are finding in this field, I want to expand to create a proper ecosystem where hundreds of more such gifted children can prosper! Thus this innovation lab will serve as a blooming field of ideas, all empowered by the exceptional minds of these different thinkers

How you can help!

If this cause speaks to you, we would love to have your support. You can provide your professional expertise, guidance or funding to help give wings to these children’s ideas.
